Five of us today working on what was plan d for the day.
The planned work moved to Oxmead Close in Bishops Cleeve following requests from residents over overhanging undergrowth restricting road access and also two willow touching one of the properties.
This gave the chance to test out the new longer polesaw.
Steve B came along and cleared the two willows with Alex clearing the arisings.
Dave, Simon and I worked along the fence line cutting back using the hedge cutters, manual polesaw saw and loppers. Steve joined in the afternoon with the polesaw and cleared high level.
A lot of the arisings put through the fence back on to railway land but also two loads taken to pecked lane to be chipped another day.
So busy I didn't take many photos other than the smaller willow being there then not. By the end we had cleared the length of the road (less a small part on the turning triangle as the trees were all growing on council land).
We did talk with the residents and they were pleased with the work overall.

I think we're going to need a bigger truck!
